ALBUM TOUR ON SALE!

“Mammal are still the very essence of rock‘n'roll in a live setting, they remain a bristling, scintillating beast of a live band that is so much fun to watch." – The Music

Australian rock masters Mammal are proud to announce they will be showcasing their “unstoppable and undeniable” (Wall Of Sound) live performance this July and August. Mammal will perform in Narrm (Melbourne), Warrane (Sydney), Kaurna (Adelaide) and Meanjin (Brisbane) on their PENNY DROP ALBUM LAUNCH TOUR.

Mammal’s legacy and legend continues to grow since their 2017 reformation, and bandmates Ezekiel Ox (Vocals), Pete Williamson (Guitars), Zane Rosanoski (Drums) and Kade Turner (Bass) recently delivered on a whispered promise, dropping the bands long awaited second studio album (follow up to ‘The Majority’) The Penny Drop. Featuring the singles Keanu ReevesThe Penny Drop and latest single Doubt, the album was described as “a potent, heady mix of blistering rock, funk, punk, hip-hop and atmospheric moodiness…music (that) veritably bursts with charisma” and saw single “Doubt” being added to Channel 7’s Friday Night Football playlist and television rotation.

Mammal live is a must for any lover of riffs and bombastic 70s-90s rock, and the band has sold out shows all around Australia, the UK and New Zealand, leaving screaming fans clutching newly signed t-shirts and vinyl albums.

Ezekiel Ox had this to say about the upcoming shows and the new album:

“Beg borrow or steal to get to these shows if you like it live and rowdy. This new album was built for the live stage and we can’t wait to give it that extra Mammal edge when we jam it out for you all. Bring your dancing pants!”

Mammal’s last two show sold our Melbourne shows gave the punters a glimpse of what is coming on this tour and beyond. The perfect mix of underground freshness and cult legitimacy, Mammal continue to make their case for being the best live rock show going around. The secret is out, and Mammal are about to become your new favourite band and a household name around Australia.

Mammal

In a world of auto-tune, backing tracks and digital algorithms Australian punk/funk warriors Mammal represent the past, present and future of rock and roll.

Since forming in 2006, Mammal have carved out an unshakeable reputation for incendiary live performances, timeless song writing and working-class political activism that has delivered them an ever-growing cult status amongst the heavy music community around the world.

Lead by their fearless front-man Ezekiel Ox, fuelled by Zane Rosanoski’s blistering dance-floor rhythms, all of which is cocooned by Dave Bleus' angular classic rock riffage and bottom-end services of bass guru Jon Stockman (Karnivool).

By 2010, Mammal had established themselves as a legitimate “must-see” rock act globally, with singles ‘Smash The Piñata’, ‘The Majority’, ‘Hell Yeah’ and ‘Think’ being spun on Australia’s national youth broadcaster Triple J and high rotation spins of their film-clips on UK television.

Mammal boast a catalogue of 4 singles, 1 EP, 2 live albums, a live DVD and 2 studio albums (The Penny Drop-2024; The Majority-2008). Their legacy has seen them sell out headline shows from London to Perth, Auckland to Brisbane and they have played lineups with Kiss, Avenge Sevenfold, Sebastian Bach, Cog, Grinspoon, Spiderbait, Sneaky Sound System and The Screaming Jets along the way.

The band also have performed onstage collaborations with Broadway composer and actor Eddie Perfect, violinist Xani Kolac, and on hip hop and classical lineups. Add to this festival appearances at Big Day Out, Groovin’ The Moo, Splendour and Soundwave (to name a few) Mammal deliver on the biggest stages and leave audiences exhilarated.
